Canopy - Customised Service
You construct the male mould from some hard material (eg: balsa wood, wood, plaster or surfboard foam with the outer surface covered with fibreglass and resin) and Aeroscale will form a canopy for you. Please note: A selvage of 20 mm is required on the base and on any open ends of your canopy outline. The selvage must be tappered away from your canopy outline. If you are using fibreglass and resin,(to prevent printing)make sure the resin is a minimum of 2 mm thick above the chopped strand or cloth. Phone me for a quotation or if you need some hints on construction. Remember! The final result is only as good as the finish of your mould. It must be as smooth as you can get it and with a "matt" finish.
